About Rebecca
Rebecca joined the Midlands ITS Team in 2011 as a Creative Expressive Facilitator. She graduated from Derby University with a BA in Creative Expressive Therapy and is currently undertaking an MA in Art Psychotherapy at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Rebecca specialises in Art Therapy, but is happy to use any of the art forms within sessions to ensure the client's freedom to explore their individual needs.
A further specialist interest for Rebecca is within the Autistic Spectrum, she has worked extensively in educational settings for several years and has experience with children and young adults with ASD and behavioural difficulties. Rebecca has lead a highly successful 'Listening with the whole body' programme for young adults with ASD.
Rebecca has worked also with non-verbal clients and enjoys facilitating the client to find their own way of communicating and working. She also works largely with Intensive Interaction and Play Therapy.
Rebecca offers a flexible, bespoke therapy which is informed by Psychodynamic and Human Centred approaches. She is happy to offer appointments on Tuesday evenings and weekends.
