
Leanne has been working as a qualified educational psychologist for seven years. She is a registered practitioner with the Health Professionals Council. Leanne is additionally qualified as a teacher and her professional training in educational psychology is to a Masters level. Leanne is currently completing a professional doctorate course and has a first class honors degree in social psychology.
Leanne's areas of special interest include:
Mental health and emotional wellbeing including educational exclusion, domestic abuse, anxiety, resilience, bereavement and loss
Social, emotional and behavioural development of children
Attachment theory, promoting positive social interactions and early nurture
Through consultation with parents, teachers and other professionals and drawing on solution focused practice, Leanne, as a member of Partners in Psychology, identifies the best hopes and goals for work together with her clients and their families.
Individual child assessments, e.g. cognitive and psychometric assessments, literacy assessments
