
Gabby uses a range of psychological theories and
research to inform her practice. She develops her knowledge and skills through
professional development, reflective practice and engagement with research.
Gabby has been working as a qualified educational
psychologist for twelve years. She is a member of the British Psychological
Society and registered practitioner with the Health Professionals’ Council. Gabby
is additionally qualified as a teacher and her professional training in
educational psychology is to a Masters level.
Gabby’s areas of special interest include:
• Attachment theory and social
relationships
• Down’s syndrome
Through consultation with parents, teachers and other
professionals and drawing on solution focused practice, Gabby, as a member of Partners
in Psychology, identifies the best hopes and goals for work together with her
clients and their families.
