Animal listening lotto boards

Lotto board using Boardmaker symbols.

Print out two sets of the pictures. Lay one set on the table so the child can see them all. The adult then makes one of the sounds that an animal would make, ask your child which animal makes the noise.

You might need to present just two or three pictures at first so there is not too much for your child to look at.

This task will help to build good attention and listening skills as well as improve the child's understanding of animal concepts.

Print four copies of the photos and make two lotto boards. Put two sets of pictures face down on the table and take it in turns to turn over a picture, name it and then see if it is on your board.

This task will help build the child's visual memory skills, language vocabuary and turn taking skills.
