Sarah has delivered therapy within a range of statutory and independent schools as well as with clients within their home. Sarah has worked with care settings including those with Adult Learning Difficulties.
Sarah prides herself in making her therapy accessible to both parents, teaching staff and of course her clients. She believes in joined up therapy targets, providing therapy that is motivating, fun and target based.

Melanie joined the team at I.T.S in 2009. Melanie also enjoys working with adults with acquired communication difficulties, stroke, head injury and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.
Melanie builds a fast rapport with her clients, adults and children alike. She works quickly to form a joined up therapy plan, incorporating functional ideas into daily routines.
Melanie is trained in Talk Tools and can offer assessment and therapy to both adults and clients within this field.
Melanie has along standing experience of working within schools and can co-deliver therapy targets within busy settings.

Sarah ensures her sessions are fun and active so your child will feel at ease and will enjoy coming to their sessions each week with a holistic approach considered to support all of your child's needs whilst also supporting and empowering families and school staff to continue games and activities at home.

She has extensive experience experience working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and children with language delay/disorder. She has worked within primary mainstream and ASD specialist provisions for 10 years. She has also experienced working alongside drama practitioners which has enabled her to produce highly imaginative and creative sessions to enhance childrens enjoyment and experience whilst in the therapy process.
Jodi has experience in narrative therapy and in training staff from 1:1 training to whole school INSETS. She can provide thorough assessments of children's communication needs and has written many contributions to their statements of special educational needs.
Jodi carries out therapy in a variety of forms including 1:1/ paired/ groups. She makes therapy accessible to all those people involved with the child and believes in supporting the whole child in their communication development. Therefore links with parents/carers and the child's school/nursery are seen as an important part of the therapy process.

Amy qualified as a speech and language therapist in 2001. She is a highly skilled paediatric speech therapist having worked with a wide range of different client groups. She has considerable experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating children aged from 0-18 years with difficulties ranging from mild speech sound delay to those with profound and complex learning disabilities. As well as supporting children with communication difficulties, Amy has also completed further training to work with those who have eating and drinking difficulties.
Amy enjoys working with children of all ages but has a particular interest working with preschool children. Another key area of interest and specialism Amy has is in the area of complex needs. Amy is skilled in working with individuals with autistic spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes and learning disabilities. Amy is currently working towards an MSc in Profound and Complex Learning Disability.
Amy has spent many years working in multi-agency contexts including assessment/diagnostic clinics, early years settings, mainstream schools, special schools and Children’s Centres. She has experience in writing joint professional reports and therapy plans. Amy has delivered training jointly with other professionals from health and education. She is passionate about working in this multi-disciplinary way. Amy took a lead in rolling out the ICAN Early Talk programme within Lewisham. This provided a partnership programme aiming to develop early years practitioners’ skills and knowledge of communication development and disability through advisory support, accreditation of settings and training. Amy is keen to make therapy targets accessible and easy to incorporate into the child’s daily routine either at home, nursery or school.
Amy has worked with many bilingual and multilingual families, conducting assessment and therapy through using an interpreter or specialist co-worker.
Amy enjoys seeing children both individually and within a group. She has considerable experience devising and conducting group therapy including:

- Specialised groups for children with complex needs e.g. Down Syndrome
- Behavioural Eating & Drinking Groups
- Groups for children who have social communication needs/Autism Spectrum.
