We are very conscious that Speech and Language Therapy should be a basic right for all our children, young people and adult clients, however with shortages within statutory services we recognise it is not always easy to access such services.
We ensure to support all clients in accessing their local statutory services and will readily liaise with your NHS and Local Authority therapists to help build a joined up therapy pathway.
We have equally searched for local charities that can help support clients access our therapy services; where funding is tight and where local service provision is short.
Cerebra is one such organisation who have helped our clients to receive an initial assessment and some follow up therapy appointments, through a £500.00 grant. Contact us and we will help provide you the information you need to help you access some funding. Cerebra have been quick to support new families approaching our service and they have formed a direct relationship with our team, so our clients do not even need to pay for therapy and claim it back. Cerebra help many children who are under the age of 16;0 and who have not received therapy for a period of 6 months. This makes an ideal way to try our services and for us to help you to put some therapy strategies and targets in place.
