We are happy to introduce our new Talk Tools monthly Assessment Clinic and Programme Update Clinic.
With an increasing number of our clients taking up the this therapy approach, we are conscious of how we can help you to keep down costs whilst accessing frequent support in using Talk Tools therapy.
Every 2nd Friday and last Monday of EVERY month we shall offer;
- 2 hours Assessment slots for new clients - to be fully assessed using the Talk Tools therapy approach.
- 1 hour Programme Update slots for existing clients, already using a Talk Tools therapy programme.
Assessment will include:
- A case history of the client, taken from family members. A Pre-assessment case history form may be sent to you prior to your appointment.
- A full Talk Tools Assessment utilising the most beneficial Talk Tools methods based on your description and the clients presentation.
- A verbal therapy summary describing the Talk Tools approaches that the client would most benefit from.
- An list of equipment you are recommended to purchase
- A full written report will be charged separately in relation to our standard therapy terms and conditions cost. This will only be written on parental/clients request.
- Assessment Session - charged at £160.00

Programme update will include:
- An initial discussion about the homework you have undertaken
- A re-assessment of your child using the advised therapy programmes
- Demonstration of the next steps in your therapy programme and introduction of new activities
- A verbal summary describing the updated Talk Tools approaches that the client would most benefit from.
- An list of equipment you are recommended to purchase.
- A full programme update written report will be charged separately in relation to our standard therapy terms and conditions cost. This will only be written on parental/clients request.
- Programme Update Session - charged at £75.00
- N.B you may be advised to book a longer session, if your child takes time to settle into therapy and/or if your child has complex needs.

Please note our Talk Tools therapy assessment and programme update sessions, will not assess your child's language development and other communication skills. You are welcome to request a fuller speech and language assessment/therapy session with the same therapist at any point.
